General Terms of Use of the eBikemap service

Applies to the website ebikemap.eu, PWA, and eBikemap apps (Android / iOS, eu.ebikemap.app).

1. Operator and acceptance

Operator: Martin Obert, Bojná, Slovak Republic — natural person, private operation, no registered business activity (no IČO). Contact: info@ebikemap.eu.

By using the service (website, app, account, or submitting content), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Service description

eBikemap is an informational and planning tool for cycling (especially e-bikes): maps, POIs (charging and services), route planning, battery/range estimates, weather, chat/assistant and related features. The service is not professional navigation, emergency service, or an official traffic information system.

3. No warranty - data, routes, map

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages related to use or inability to use the service (including health/property damage, data loss, wrong route guidance, or station unavailability). You use the service at your own risk.

An account is optional. Sign-in may use email/password or Google/Apple. Account processing follows the Privacy Policy. You can request account deletion via email. The operator may suspend accounts in case of abuse.

8. Intellectual property and map data

The eBikemap brand, design and original operator content are protected. Map data may include OpenStreetMap and other licensed sources; applicable licenses and attributions must be respected. Third-party libraries (Leaflet, MapLibre, etc.) are subject to their own licenses.

9. Availability and service changes

The service is provided as is. Features may change, be limited, or discontinued at any time. These Terms may be updated; the latest date is shown above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Slovak courts have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer-law rules provide otherwise.
